Yes. During your free phone consultation, we can provide general price ranges and rough estimates based on the information available. Final pricing is confirmed after the project scope is reviewed and, if needed, an on-site evaluation is completed.

Is there a charge for an on-site visit?

Yes. On-site evaluations are billed. If you choose to move forward with us, that fee is applied toward your final project total.

How do you handle communication during a project?

We generally text or message, however there will be emails with scopes of work and required signatures. We will communicate regularly with you from purchasing materials, throughout the build,  prior to arrival, and any other planning. Our goal is to ensure your comfort. We strive to stand out with our constant and clear communication.

What is the process of working with you from start to finish?

We aim to make the process clear and comfortable from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

1. Free Phone Consultation - we begin with a phone call to learn about your project, answer questions, and determine whether an on-site visit is the right next step.

2. On-Site Evaluation (if needed) - if the project requires it, we schedule a visit to review the space, take measurements, and discuss details in person. Any evaluation fee is credited toward your project if you choose to move forward.

3. Proposal & Service Agreement - after reviewing the project, we provide a written proposal outlining the scope of work, pricing, materials, and timeline We review everything with you, so expectations are clear before work begins.

4. Scheduling & Preparation - once all documents are signed, we schedule your project start date and discuss how to prepare the area. We communicate start dates and what to expect during construction.

5. Work in Progress- we complete the work carefully and respectfully in your home. We keep you informed, maintain an organized work area, and address any questions that come up along the way.

6. Final Walkthrough - when the project is complete, we review everything with you to ensure the work meets expectations. WE address final details and clean the workspace before closing the project.

What is a service agreement?

Our initial service agreement is a electronic form that outlines general policies and terms of Love Thy Neighbor Services and Elijah Remodeling & Construction. It also allows us to gather your contact information and gives consent for further communication to continue between all parties.

As the project progresses, there will be a more specific service agreement and scope of work that will be presented and require signatures. the purpose of the agreement is transparency and protection for everyone involved. It helps prevent misunderstandings, keeps communication clear, and ensures that the work being completed matches what was discussed.

We review the agreement with you and answer any questions before starting, so you can feel comfortable and informed moving forward.

Copies of all documents are available and provided to our customers.

Who will be working in my home?

Our business is a small and family owned. It will be either Blake and Jennifer or just one of us.

We value teaching, growth, and leading by example. As a family-owned business, we believe in helping our children learn the importance of responsibility, craftsmanship, and service. When appropriate and only with customer comfort and consent, there may be times when our children accompany and assist us in limited, age-appropriate ways.

Do you help with design and layout?

Yes. We work with you to understand how you use the space and help plan a layout that improves function, comfort, and storage. When helpful, we can create a rendering or visual plan so you can see the project before construction begins.

Do we need to purchase materials ourselves?

Accepted Answer

You're welcome to choose your own fixtures and finishes, or we can help guide you toward reliable options that fit your budget and goals. We have had customers that purchase all materials, we've purchased all materials, or a combination of the two. We will clearly outline who is supplying what before the project begins so there are no surprises.

What if we want to make changes during the project?

Sometimes ideas evolve once the project begins. If you request a change, we will discuss options, explain any cost or timeline adjustments, and confirm everything with you before proceeding.

Question 12

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

We typically require a non-refundable deposit to schedule the project, with remaining payments tied to the project progress and final completion. All payment terms are explained clearly in your written proposal before work begins.

Question 13

Is there a warranty with your services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Love Thy Neighbor Services LLC and Elijah Remodeling & Construction provides a 6-month workmanship warranty from the date of the project completion. This warranty covers defects arising from improper preparation or application. It does not cover damage caused by structural issues, client misuse, environmental conditions, or poor maintenance.

Manufacturer warranties apply to materials used.
